Lifeboard Lifeboard

Beta terms

Last changed October 26, 2026. Written for the private beta, in plain words.

It's a free beta

  • Lifeboard is free while it's in beta, and invite-only.
  • There's no promise it will always be up or bug-free. Keep your own copy of anything important (Settings → Your data exports it).
  • We may reset data or end the beta. If we do, we'll tell you at least a week ahead so you can export, unless something urgent (like a security problem) makes that impossible.

You're in charge of your agents

  • You choose which agents to connect and what they may do. What your agents do, including spending money or contacting people, is your responsibility and theirs.
  • Lifeboard shows you what agents report and asks for your OK before important steps, but it can't physically stop an agent that ignores it. It notices and tells you.
  • It only knows what agents tell it, so a card can be out of date or wrong.

Using it fairly

  • Use it for yourself. Don't put other people's private details in it without their OK.
  • Don't paste passwords or full card numbers into cards. Lifeboard blanks out the ones it recognises, but not every pattern.
  • Don't try to break into it, overload it, or get at other people's data. If you find a security problem, tell the operator (the person who invited you) and we'll fix it.
  • Keep your sign-in and agent keys to yourself. You can revoke a key any time in Agents.

Feedback

Your feedback is the point of the beta. We may use your ideas to improve Lifeboard without owing anything for them.

Leaving

You can stop any time: export your data, then delete your Lifeboard in Settings. The operator can also remove an account from the beta, with notice where possible.

The fine print

Lifeboard is provided as is, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it or from what your agents do. Nothing here limits rights the law says can't be limited.
